Flashes of Light We Can’t See

Hand-built light sensitive microphones, antiquated VHS remote controls, hand-built contact microphones, vocalizations, found sounds, and field recordings from Japan, Cuba, and the USA.

The first edition of Flashes of Light We Can’t See was an audio cassette handmade limited edition of 50, distributed in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Inside is full bleed red screen print, and outside is full bleed glow-in-the-dark ink screen print, with a black hand-carved stamp over that.

Flashes of Light We Can’t See will be remastered and re-released with all new artwork in early 2025 with a limited release on vinyl. There will also be a small edition of photobooks that accompany the album.

After the initial vinyl/book re-release, the re-mastered for digital release tracks will be available on digital platforms.
